"From my first Hip Hop/R&B residency at The Black Sheep bar, Croydon in 2000 at 17yrs old to touring the world Djing alongside pop stars back in 2014 my passion for playing music has grown year on year.
The tour that kicked it all off was back in 2000 with British Hip Hop MC Skinnyman. When that ended I went and grabbed a Photography degree in Portsmouth. During those hazy 3 yrs I became resident at the Cities number one Live Hip Hop night The Go Off. Opening up for the likes of Afrika Bambaataa, Mark Ronson, Lord Finesse, Paul Nice, Rodney P, Skitz, Million Dan, Klashnekoff, Ty, The Nextmen, Dj Format, Scratch Perverts and many more...
On returning to London in 2005 I became a music press officer with the legendary promo company Zzonked (R.I.P). Working alongside Alex Nut I started to Dj at his first London club night Communication Matters.
Next up I was grabbed by UK clothing label King Apparel to help with sales and marketing. A sold out show at Cargo in Shoreditch followed with the release of my Strictly Underground mixtape featuring Plan B, Plastician, Skepta, Joker, J2K, Wretch 32, Flow Dan and more. This also coincided with 10Ton - a monthly Dubstep night I was doing back down in Portsmouth guesting Skream, Benga, Rusko, Caspa and others.
Skip to 2009 and after meeting Mikill Pane at our workplace of the time, we began to do live shows wherever we could in London until his hustle got him a record signing and we hit up shows across the UK, Ireland and France.
In 2014 I joined the Rizzle Kicks band for a sold out 21 date UK tour. After stepping off of that tour I hopped onto a European and American tour with pop singer Kiesza for 8 months.
Since grounding myself back in London I can be found spinning at various club nights including my own residencies, all of which can be found in my gigs listings. Selecting the very best in Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Dancehall, Grime, House, Garage and a whole heap more....... Keep an eye out and come shake a leg!"
